Obituary of Claire Bastien

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Bastien (née Desnoyers) on January 25, 2023 at the age of 72. Loving mother of Julie Bastien (Mario Ménard) and Joey Bastien (Jen). Proud grandmother of Miguel Cayer, Jayden Bélanger and Samarah Bélanger. Dear sister of Jean-Guy (Shirley), Jeanine (Rolly), Rejean (Pauline), Bob (Phyllis), Lise (Jean-Pierre) and Suzanne. She is predeceased by her parents Zenophile Desnoyers and Irène Laflèche; and her brothers Gilles (Shirley), Rheal (Louise), Florent (Tracy) and Denis (Brenda). Claire will also be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Lamarche & Hill Funeral Home, 709 rue Principale, Casselman, ON K0A 1M0, (613) 764-3286, on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 10 – 11 am. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am. Spring interment, Cimetière Sacré-Coeur de Bourget.
