It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Pouliot (née Fillion), who passed away on December 15, 2023 at the age of 86.

Daughter of the late Joseph Fillion and the late Marie Fillion (née Rodrigue).

Beloved wife of the late Jean-Paul Pouliot (2009).

Loving mother of the late Johanne Pouliot, the late Nancy Pouliot and Chris Pouliot (Michelle Bugden).

Proud grandmother of Pierre Luc Murray (Veronica Turcot), Tanya Lariviere (Jeff Tapp) and Chantal Lavigne (Patrick); and great-grandmother of Charlotte, Laylah, Amelia and Katia.

Dear sister of the late François (the late Louisette Lefrançois), the late Jean-Noël (Therese Laberge), the late Aurelia (the late Firmin Quirion), the late Marielle (the late Philippe Quirion), the late Réal (the late Patricia Garneau), the late Réjeanne (the late Clement Guerin) and Claire-Aline (the late Clémont Fecteau); and half sister of the late Wilfred Fillion, the late Alcide Fillion, the late Émile Fillion, the late Léontine Lemieux, the late Placide Fillion and the late Thuribe Fillion.

Sister-in-law to the late Raymond Pouliot (Suzanne Bidal), Gérard Pouliot (Gisèle Leclerc), the late Berny Pouliot (the late Suzanne Hébert), Claude Pouliot (the late Nicole Buissière), the late Lucille (the late Yvon Tremblay), the late Lise (the late Jean-Claude Bouchard) and Rosaire Pouliot (Simonne Dumais).

She will be fondly remembered by her many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 rue Notre Dame St., Embrun, ON, K0A 1W0, (613) 443-3286 on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (for family & friends), and on Saturday from 9 - 10:30 a.m. (only for the family). A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Jacques Church, 1041 rue Notre Dame St., Embrun, ON, K0A 1W0 on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Society would be appreciated by the family.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses nombreux neveux, nièces, cousins et amis.

La famille recevra les condoléances au Salon Funéraire Laurent Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun (Ontario) K0A 1W0, (613) 443-3286 le vendredi 26 janvier 2024 de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h (pour la famille et les amis), et le samedi de 9h à 10h30 (uniquement pour la famille). Une messe funéraire chrétienne sera célébrée à l'église Saint-Jacques, 1041, rue Notre Dame St., Embrun (Ontario) K0A 1W0 le samedi 27 janvier 2024 à 11 h, suivie d'une réception.

Un don à la Société canadienne du cancer ou à la Société des maladies du cœur et de l'AVC serait apprécié par la famille.
