Paul was my daughter's father in law, we met a few occasions prior to him moving to Embrun. That's when I feel I really got to know him.
Paul was a Proud Veteran, a proud father and loved his grandkids. Grandpapa (what kids called him) was kind and funny, also generous to a fault. The kids loved him dearly.
As I said when he moved to the area, he spent quite a bit a time at my daughter and son-in-law house. He loved sitting by the campfire, making jokes, and always the center of attention. He was forgiving, he would say it's in the past, just learn from your mistake and move on.
RIP Paul, you will definitely be missed, thank you for all the love and laughs.
