C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Guy Champoux le 29 décembre 2022, à l'âge de 86 ans. Il était l’époux bien-aimé de feu Hélène Sylvestre. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Sylvie Tardif (Jacques), Jacinthe Riccio (Pasquale), Lorraine Hanna (John) et René Champoux (Anna); ses petits-enfants Martin Tardif (Jessica), Mélissa McNally (Jeff), Alexander Riccio (Mariella), Mathieu Riccio (Yalinca), Daniel Hanna, Sarah Champoux et Amanda Champoux; et ses arrière-petits-enfants Émilie Tardif, Hugo Tardif, Mario Tardif, Evan McNally, James McNally et Alessandro Riccio. Il laisse également dans le deuil son amie de coeur Lucette Lapalme et sa belle grande famille, ainsi que plusieurs ami(e)s. Il est prédécédé par ses parents Donat Champoux et Marie-Louise Champoux (née Turcotte); ses frères Gérard Champoux (Evangéline), Gonzague Champoux (Yolande) et Roland Champoux; et ses soeurs Lucille Champoux, Jacqueline St-Laurent (Philippe), Gertrude Lechasseur (Jean), Hélène Abel (Conrad) et Huguette Lemay (Donat).
