Obituary of Chahla Mounzer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Chahla Mounzer Peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She was the beloved spouse of the late Fouad Mounzer. She will be mourned by her dear children: Raymond, George, Nicole Nayel, Joseph and Maghy Hallal, her 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Amid Nayel and the late Mary Kiwan. Loving sister of Souad Zakhour (late George), Yvonne Bou-Madi (late Abdou), Hayat Bou-Madi (late Mounir), late Zahia Zakhour (Abdou), late Fouad (Nouhad), late Antoine (Isabelle), late Georges (late Najia) Nayel and late Bernadette Nayel (Chaker). The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Visitation church (5338 Bank Street, Ottawa (ON) K1X 1H1) followed by the interment at Hope Cemetery. After the burial, the family will receive relatives and friends at the Community Centre of the church. In memoriam donations to Our Lady of Visitation Parish would be appreciated.
